Spectrum Centre launch Furtive Arts: A Crowd Funding Initiative

The Spectrum Centre have launched a new crowd funding initiative: Furtive Arts.

Targeted at residential homes, supported housing, sheltered accommodation, and day centres, Furtive Arts aims to engage older people and people living with dementia to participate in a series of art-based workshops. These will be an arena for creativity, expression, learning, fun, reminiscence, and enjoyment. The practical outputs will be art work which will be installed for public benefit.

Positively highlighting the creativity of older people and changing perceptions about people who live with dementia, Furtive Arts will bring art to the heart of the community, brightening and enhancing public spaces.

The campaign went live on Wednesday 28 January and runs until Thursday 5 March.
