In 2010 Benoy Architects, Peter Brett Associates and Drivers Jonas Deloitte began developing a regeneration proposal for the site.
The preferred development option suggests a mixed use development, comprising a convenience foodstore, hotel and undercroft car parking. These uses reflect market analysis and a stakeholder consultation process with a focus on commercial attractiveness, local employment opportunities and reconnecting with North Street and the Shankill.

DSD invite feedback on the proposals via email at [email protected]. The closing date for comments is 22nd February 2013. Following completion of the public consultation process DSD will issue a Development Brief to the market.
