News from Young at Art on their 2010 Making Space forum at Belfast Children's Festival:
You are warmly invited to attend the annual Making Space forum, curated and coordinated in partnership with the University of Ulster, as part of Belfast Children’s Festival 2010.
Making Space (formerly Open Space) is an annual discussion forum set up by Young at Art in 2001. Following the successes of previous years, Making Space 2010 brings together international practitioners, local artists, policy makers, arts organisations, academics and students to share and interrogate current practices, issues and concerns in the arts for children.
I would like to draw your particular attention to Making Space 3: Seminar: Space to Play. A unique confluence of organisations including Playboard, the Forum for an Alternative Belfast, Belfast Exposed and PS2 will come together to explore how children and young people are considered in our built environment and where space is left for them to play creatively.
Thursday 27th May
Seminar: Space to Play
2.30 - 4.30pm
The sign up deadline for Making Space 2010 is 7th May, but places are extremely limited, especially for the events which include tickets to festival shows. To avoid disappointment, please book as soon as possible. For more information, please visit Young at Art’s Getting Involved webpage, where you will find full programme details in the “Downloads” section at the bottom of the page, or contact Anna McCrum.
To book for any of the events, please complete the online Booking Form BEFORE 7th MAY. If you experience any problems with the online form, please contact us and we will provide alternative methods of booking.
